What is Trinity at Ten?

Trinity at Ten is a monthly morning service at Holy Trinity with teaching from the Bible, a strong focus on community, children’s groups and activities, and an accessible service style.

When will Trinity at Ten services take place?

Starting on Sunday 6th October 2024, Trinity at Ten will happen on the first Sunday of each month.

Why Trinity at Ten?

Holy Trinity has an exciting set of plans, The Trinity Plan, that will see Holy Trinity and Trinity at Four unite in the same church family, with the same vision, meeting in the same building. We have no plans to amalgamate the two congregations, but are inviting a group from Trinity at Four to join the 10am congregation, so that together we can build up ministry for all ages across both congregations. Our hope is for Trinity at Ten to provide:

A monthly opportunity for the 10am congregation to get to know some of the T4 congregation
A monthly ‘taste and see’ service for those at T4 considering being regular weekly attenders of the 10am service
An opportunity to invite people from the community, especially those at our mid-week children’s events based at Holy Trinity

What will happen at Trinity at Ten?

Details are still to be confirmed, but services are likely to include:

A time of fellowship before the service over pastries and coffee (from 9:15am)
The first 20 minutes of the service with adults and children all together
Groups and activities for children during the sermon
A mix of traditional and contemporary music.
Regular teaching series continues (which 10am and 4pm services already share)

What’s the end goal?

A group from Trinity at Four to commit to being regular weekly members at the Holy Trinity 10am service
For our weekly 10am services to be accessible and welcoming to all ages, with regular weekly children’s groups
For our 10am and 4pm services both to grow and thrive as we remain rooted in Jesus and fruitful for him.

How can we each play a part?

Everyone:

Please pray! That these services will be greatly used by God as we seek to serve him, and reach our community with the good news of Jesus
Please invite! Do you have local friends or family who would enjoy coming along? We’ll be producing some invitations and publicity nearer the time.

Holy Trinity Congregation: We will need to work together to make these services a success. Let’s do all we can to welcome newcomers and to help practically where we can.

Trinity at Four congregation: If you would like to consider joining the 10am congregation as your regular Sunday service, please commit to coming along to the Trinity at Ten monthly services! We are praying that God will prompt at least half a dozen families / individuals from T4 to form a group who could commit to this together. If you’re not sure, then why not come along, and perhaps the Lord will make it clearer where he is calling you.
